This is a very interesting development in the real of search technology. If you ever find yourself tracking scammers, particularly romance scammers, it should prove very useful.

A new visual search engine could help photographers keep track of their photographs whenever, and wherever, they appear on the internet.

The TinEye search engine, developed by Canadian company Idee, allows users to search by uploading a picture rather than typing in a keyword. It then conducts a pixel by pixel search across the internet, flagging up all instances of that image even if it's been cropped, merged or digitally altered in some way.

"TinEye does for images what Google does for text," says Leila Boujnane, the CEO of TinEye. "We are not limited by words, Google can only find an image if a particular search word is in proximity to it. We have the ability on a large scale to tell somebody where one of their images has appeared and how it's being used."

Where Russian and Ukraine love lads get hold of thousands of photo sets has been an argument for quite a while .
If Tin Eye will find models photos used by lads plus private and personal photos on blogs it means a big % of the images scammers access are now searchable not only by scripts or IP but by the thing that often make guys disbelieve your warning , the photos .

Deeper significance is the law in Russia for those using another's photo without their permission .
It is the only law I know directly affecting scam artists in Russia , fraud is a grey area when " the forigner " is concerned and victims have a hard time proving the word fraud through legal channels which is why prosecution from outside Russia is difficult and scammers know it .
In Russia the scam industry suppling authentic looking photos sets from willing participants involving payment for the girls and their permission to use their photos is where Tin Eye might have problems, these photos are only sent in email to potential victims but hopefully will be searchable by Tin Eye when the photos are posted on anti fraud sites.
All in all things look optimistic , searching Ru love lads for 30 minutes at the second attempt found private photos on a Russian blog of one girl plus a well used blonde model on another .

All I did was stumble accross an announcement of the search engine going into "public" beta testing. Previously, the beta testing was being done on an invite only basis.

I'm sure people have their doubts about both the coverage and accuracy of Computer Visions systems, simply because they have never actually had access to one. If you're curious about the kinds of things this engine can currently do, take a look at the exampls on their "widgets" page:

I've already submitted both ILS and AFI but it wouldn't hurt if there are more submissions of the same sites. Do be careful though; many collections of scammer images and stolen/fake sweetheard images used by scammers include adult material. The Terms of Service for TinEye.com forbids "pornography" although I think their main reasoning is they want to prevent abuse of their service.

Ukraine love scam photos obtain good results ,it must be said that using this tool it highlights the difference between the style of Ukraine and Russian photos used.
A big % of Ukraine scams use stolen pics of girls, the style of script is very similar to Russian scripts though written English is better and access to "naturalistic photo sets " is not so prevalent . Maybe this is because ordinary Ukraine girls do not collude with scammers in selling their photos to be knowingly used in internet scams . Searching Russian scam photos will no doubt bear this out ........
in the mean time while Russians are taking screen shots their scam photos to wipe any exif data it does not effect a search for pixel content .

I found that for the same issue on 419legal.org:

"that girl shown on eurodamen.com is real. I have met her personally in Kiev through Eurodamen and she is honest. But I do not know about elenasmodels.com and if you really can get in touch with that girl through elenasmodels, I only know about Eurodamen and that agency is honest. "

I think most probably the agencies are sharing the girls profiles because I have found on tineye.com much more photos from the same girls on different dating sites.

If the girl could speak for herself she would help prove if her photos were in fact stolen by Elena's models without her consent . Also Eurodamen have stated Copyright notice on the photos which the girl would have agreed to prior to registering with them .
