you might ask, why is that? [why is that?] Yes. Thank You.

There's a couple of reasons. One is that it's just the same gang of scammers continually recycling the same format, Fondazion Di Vittorio, in this case. Another is that there are two or more gangs using the same scam format. Another is that there may simply be a lot of single scammers all using the same format. The emails change (easy to set up fake email accounts) but the format remains the same.

Fondazion Di Vittorio (FDV) is a real charity in Italy. They are the biggest charity victims of identity theft around. They are probably aware of the problem but we aren't sure if they are doing anything about it.

As with victim lists, scammers may buy the formats from other scammers. There is honour among theives. Not much, but some. The more likely possibility is that that steal it. If there are only one or two gangs running this scam format, they probably just recycle.

In any case, any email you get from FDV will look about like this and any email you get from FDV is NOT from the real Fondazion Di Vittorio. Ever. That is not how they work. Delete it an move on because it is only and always a scam.

(Oh, and...an Italian charity needs a payments office in Nigeria? What is with that? Easy! Scam!)
