In Latest scam sprouted in Sydney where A scam artists has been accused over questionable multi-million-dollar international credit card racket operating on shopping websites .
Sydney police confirms the busting of this organized crime that was intentionally designed to steal the people’s credit card details to buy $4.5 million worth of electronic goods, tools and luxury wine.
The gang was smart to sold the items on e bay and other leading shopping (online websites) for just one-third of the original amount since last two years thus defrauding and duping millions of people .
Police was able to bust the this professional racket when it came know that , Fraudsters were selling retail gift cards at discounted prices on e bay since a month. Moreover gang was operating internationally making good business by selling TVs, laptops, cameras, GPS devices, power tools and mp3 players.
Sydney police laid out a trap in which they were successful in raiding properties at Rydalmere, Concord, Croydon and Marrickville, in western Sydney in whcih number of items have been sieged including computers, steam cleaners and fake credit cards along with the fake driving license .
While a 27 year old scam artist have been detained by the police in this whole process.
Police confirms eBay has banned the syndicate from selling any more goods on its website.
