btu are you aware of the website which tells you who is the provider of a certain 070 phone no.

you can them email them and some of them are very quick at getting the phone no. stopped

some , of course are ratbags

they are a scammers dream

as you say if you are unaware they look like a regular uk mobile

cost the scammer nothing to acquire (of which they have an infinite supply)
and the poor sucker phoning it pays for the call

ive spoken to some of the companies who dish these out but thay have no interest in stopping it as they make money from it

id love to know the % of legit users to scum

either one and they dont have your best interests at heart
