Need Help

I was approached by a company called Diasystems.

They claim they get rights to unclaimed funds and then hold them in trust for you. If I send them $500.00 they can process the $12,000.00 they are holding in my name.

Is this a scam?

Without even having any more information or doing any investigation, yes, its almost positively. It has all the earmarks of the classic 419 Advance Fee Fraud. Could you please post the email address and the contents of the email you received making sure to remove any identifying information.
