There is absolutely no doubt about it. They are linked to this gang (http://antifraudintl.org/showthread.php?t=31447) of Cameroon criminals.

Please post all of their contact information to help others to find the information on them.

I have submitted the site to McAfee for in-depth investigation. If they find intentional malware they probably will get the hosting ISP to shut the site down. AVG says it is viral. I have not got the Sophos report yet.

Any offer with a telephone begining with 4470 appears to be from the UK, but these numbers can in fact be redirected and answered anywhere in the world, is a scam.

Arch89, the one who wants to give you the parrots and the company are one and the same person. It's always like that. Do not believe them.

Any company asking for payment via Western Union in pet dealings is a scam. You don't need to look any further. And please don't forget that the person giving those birds is the one who put you in contact with them.

If you read up on our petscam section, you will see that " a move " is often the excuse used in animal scams. Do not believe her.

I've reviewed the Facebook profile you sent me and it's fake. If you want more proof, contact your government authorities for information on the procedure to import this species of parrot into your country, you will see that it's not something that can be done overnight.

IT'S A SCAM. Cut off all contact with them.

If you really want a parrot, I'm sure you can find real shelters in your own country/area, where you could get a parrot that actually exists.

There is no such company as "Relocomotion Ltd" registered in the UK. It is a complete fake.

The address given, 25 Wood Street, Liverpool, does not exist. Wood Street does exist, but has not got any addresses in the range 1-77 as this part of the street is the service entrances to business premises on the next street - Bold Street.

THIS IS A SCAM. Please break all contact with the criminals, and provide us with all possible information about them.

Welcome to AFI.

It was lucky for your wallet you landed here. So sad you did not get your parrot but hang in there, one will come along for you. May I also suggest you find some 'bird' societies and clubs in your area, either online or have a look in any bird magazine published in your country. Get in touch with the clubs and breeders and let them know you are serious and are prepared to learn to look after a parrot properly, including giving it a great, not just adequate, diet. Let them know you want to learn from them, put your name down for a rescue bird. Most birds won't come with a cage, so try to get the biggest and best cage you can, prior, so you have something to contain the bird in when you can't have him out on a perch.

If you read through the pet scams on this site, you will learn to recognize a scam. A term used often is "given out for adoption". If you see listings like this on pet advertising sites, report them so someone else isn't scammed. Along with using the time to learn everything you can about parrots, it could be an interesting way to pass some time while waiting for your own parrot.

And hey, please don't suicide over something like this, scammers don't care, but I'm sure some needy parrot would go without a great home if you did this.
