Hi Ninja,
You don't know it, but you have saved me from a lot of hassle. Thanks! I am an academician and receive numerous e-mails regarding conferences, and this one ostensibly appeared legitimate. However, the wording seemed a bit funky and there was no addressee, so I did a search and came across your post. It is interesting that this appears to be very recent scam, as I received the e-mail tonight, which I will post below for everyone's benefit. Also, they can see tat the wording is just like yours but the names are changed.
I just wonder if there is some way of scamming them back, or at least wasting their time. I'll ruminate on this and make a post if I come up with any ideas.
Thanks, again,
Best regards, :)
