Dear Counsel,
My name is Hira Shio, A forty five year old Chinese woman. I am contacting your Law firm in regards to devastating injury I suffered during a visit to the United Sates during the month of October 2009. It was roughly six months ago when a truck belonging to a company called JOM Freight Carriers reversed into me while I walked on the pavement along the premises of this company. My right Leg was caught underneath the back wheel of the truck and was crushed resulting inthe eventual amputation of the leg. The ordeal was agonising to say the least and I am presently still undergoing therapy on my left leg. I am now presently back in China with no means of livelyhood. This accident has caused me much stress and difficulty as I have to pay my bills out of my own savings which is making things very hard. However before I left for China I had signed an agreement with the company that insured JOM freight Carriers with a promise that I will be compensated with a payment of $400,000.00 to avoid taking them to court.
This is the 6th month since the incident and i still have not received my compensation. I am prepared to sue them for damages by month end if they are not forthcoming with my compensation as promised.
Please be not be alarmed as my mode of contact may appear unusual but it was out of desperation that led me to do a search of suitable lawyers on the internet that led me to your firm. I shall be highly gratefull in your urgent service as an attorney to see through this matter. I await your response
