There is a Company: Online Bargains Limited, 48b Queen Mary Ave, New Lynn, Auckland, New Zealand
but you probably mean the Online Bargains LTD at 26 Islip Manor Rd, Northolt, Middlesex, UB5 5DY, UK,
their Annual Return is overdue (as of 07/07/2011)
Company Registration No.: 06928086
Incorporation Date: 09 Jun 09
Financial Year End: 30 Jun
Capital: £1.00
The owner seems to be Salman Khalid, a 35 year old Pakistani living with Misbah Majid, Abdul Rauf and Abdul Majid at the same address as the registered address of the company.
The same guy shows up at the Imperial Immigration Services Ltd. a UK company Company Registration No.: 06684033.

He is a sole director in both companies and Online Bargains Ltd changed its registered address on 30/06/09 FROM:106 Manor Rd, Dagenham, Essex, RM10 8BE (which is the Imperial Immigration Services Ltd registered office)

I would not trust them

thats also a indication for scam attempt.
you have to pay these tax fees befor the can release the goods.
and later on the give you anoter mail with more sort off fees to pay.
(eg. fees for some release documents, etc.. etc..)

For example DHL.. you get upfront a fixed price to pay for the delivery off your goods worldwide..

if there is taxes due there is a paper issued by customs, ask for a copy, if there is none than there is no such thing, if there is a customs paper check it with customs. only thing I can think of is VAT.\
What is it they are sending to you? Did the sender specify who pays the taxes?

I would be very suspicious

depends where you are, ask the French Embassy but frankly I do not understand. The ICC is an international Trade oranization which has contact offices all over the world and very few countries have no office relation, so there is no need for such thing send cross border. I do not think there is customs due, ask your own customs officers first. If it is legal its all in the books. The more you say the less I believe these guys

POSITIVETHINKER

I ask also the customs here in our country the have but i just want to clarify where can i contact the france customs? if the items is there.. before i pay there taxes.. because my company i send already the partial payment.. thank you..

Miyuki

How did you send them money?

POSITIVETHINKER
08-23-2011, 05:06 AM
thru western union because i dont have a paypal and bank account..

Miyuki
08-23-2011, 05:08 AM
Then the money you sent is gone and you will probably not get it back.

POSITIVETHINKER

Niseag

customs office to talk to is a department in the French Embassy. I have no idea where you are but if you partially paid and still have not at least a paper issued by customs than they are completely irregular.

I can called up the number that you given but they didnt help me for that.. they suggest to contact my courier but i just want to know if the package is in the customs in France..

De Master Yoda

Every indication is that this is a scam so NO the package does not exist.

Most business's use a bank transfer system NOT western union.

Scammers use WU as they cannot be traced once they have picked up the money.

POSITIVETHINKER

i trace the tracking number in there website but the status is the packages is on the france on hold because there are duties and taxes before they deliver the items..what can i do??

De Master Yoda

You can stop all contact with the scammer. and NOT send them any more money.

As Miyuki has said your money so far sent is probably lost.

Any money for customs duties or expense would be payable to the French customs department NO ONE ELSE. and I do not think they accept Western union payments.

I do not think they would allow any one else to collect payments on their behalf.

The scammers ask for various Fee's and charges and when they are paid they ask for more using a variety of excuses.
The money they can steal from you is what they are after. If you send any more money then something else will then need to be paid, insurance fees, clearance fees, courier fees, Entry fees. Anything they can think of to keep getting money from you.

The link below may help you to check.

In case of doubt, please enquire at the French Consulate (customs department)

You may like to look at this site: http://blog.ukdata.com/2011/06/weekly-fraud-roundup-week-ending_20.html

And for the courier company; http://www.google.com.au/#hl=en&source=hp&q=%22the+express+worldwide+cargo+scam%22&btnG=Google+Search&oq=%22the+express+worldwide+cargo+scam%22&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_sm=s&gs_upl=1899l8023l0l9485l8l8l0l7l0l0l311l311l3-1l1l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=99a988a2376b6ece&biw=1024&bih=624

I think this is enough evidence to show this is a scam.

De Master Yoda

It all seems to be part of the scam. Using some of the image programs on the internet it is easy to produce as many documents and certificates as you like, all of them fake.

Sorry, but everything points to this being a scam.
