I received the following message today regarding one of my listings:
"I have been to the area last year and liked the location.
Understand that I and my wife are OK with pictures and information we have seen so far as we would like to initiate the purchase process from China before we arrive USA before the end of next month.
This for we would not like to lose the property.
I am in China at the moment and hope to be in USA next month.
The home would be a cash buy as I have attached a scanned copy of my bank statement for your reference.

I would like to settle an up front deposit of $15,000 and close Mid May.

He has been emailing me to purchase a new home in Alabama. Everything reads about the same except he is using the name Mark Lynn. [marklynn40@gmail.com]. Address: Unit 24 XIN Chaoyang District, Beijing, China
Telephone: 86 96 894 277. I just did a search of the address and this is where it brought me to. Thanks for taking the time to share so I know I can move on and stop wasting time. Thanks Kim Hodge

I got the exact same messages. Using the name Mark Lin and the e mail address of [marklynn00@gmail.com] I'm glad that I thought to Google the address that's how I got the information on this site.

I got the same email from him but his email is now marklynn00@gmail. Here is the message:

He continues to try to scam an attorney's bank account.....

Yes he tried to scam my realtor and me too. He gives a bank statement and wants to close in May. If you google scams , this is a formula. Disregard all of his e-mails.

I received the same emails as everyone else and also the latest below. His email is marklynn00@gmail.
I received several emails from him and this is the latest email from him below:
As I have said before, the home will be a cash buy and I and my wife will fly to USA for viewing the property but before that I would like my stock broker in America to send the money to your firm via a lawyer/solicitor.
I want to make the funds available in USA before coming to view the property, please I would want you to retain a lawyer for me so that my stock broker can send the funds directly to him to keep in a trust account until I arrive in USAwith my wife.
Please let me know the lawyer retaining fees and charges so that my stock broker can include all in the payment he would be sending to the lawyer.
Kindly get back to me with a candid response as I plan to be in USA soon.
