Being new here is over whelming with all the new information to absorb. But here's a question:

This may be something already discussed here and it may be nothing but my junk mail box is full of email from "Rebate Processesors Needed" What's up with this, I haven't opened any of it!

I don't think we've seen one here before. Maybe post one here with headers and we can take a look at it.

That link is already dead and that makes me rather suspicious. It's probably my work environment. :)

Or "oh Dear what a mess" in Welsh....

This looks like a sudden upsurge in "Representative Scam" phishing sites. There was rumour of this in some other places. I think it may be dangerous to post all the URLs on open forum, so maybe they could be Private Message sent to an Administrator, Moderator or Samurai so we can deal with them, please?

Thanks very much

Are you addressing me about posting URLs? Please let me know as I'm new. Thanks!

@ Mr Natural,

Sorry, I should have been more specific. My comment was really for all who view the thread to pass on the information to us. I haven't been here all that long myself, and soon discovered that if a remark is intended for one member it gets an "@" and your name at the start!

Hope that is OK.

@ Mr. Natural

If you can forward one of those emails to admin with the full email headers then we can do some more work on it. TY.

This may just be a variation of the "refund processor" thing that went around a few years ago. Basically you are asked to process refunds for companies with USP or FedEx for packages that didn't get shipped. But the thing is that you have to find local companies in your area that do that, so there's a lot of hard work involved in that. Most of them are small businesses anyway not major ones.

And just like the lottery scam, if you didn't buy a ticket you can't win....if there was a secret way to make $175 a hour on the net how much of a secret do you think it would be, and for how long?

There was a complaint filed with the BBB about a similar company in about 2003 and this one is probably about the same. Substitute "rebate" for "refund".

You could also check Snopes. Some of my lawyer buddies use that one.
