Here is a link to where you can download the new versions in 45 different languages and for Windows, Linux and MacOSX.
As usual take care and do a back up first.
One or two reports about people losing their passwords and bookmarks (probably the operator?) but a good idea to back them up just in case.
Many reports about it speeding things up

I installed it with no problems and it does seem a bit faster. However, none of my add-ons were compatible. :( Hopefully they at least get things like No-Script working again.

You can lose some passwords and there also seem to be some problems with plugins for media.

It may not be a good thing to be in a hurry to get Firefox 3. Some of the plugins I downloaded yesterday don't work today.
There's a forum with some threads about problems Gordon sent me.

I've installed it on 30+ pc's and it seems to be alright for the average user with no issues.

It installed ok on my pc using windows xp home edition, maybe it is not so good on VISTA?? it would seem though that a back up first could be a wise move.
Also I think that most of us are not so experienced as the FAILURE so we MAY mess things up ? caution could be a good idea!

Knowing how much you love microsoft, you should be able to use flashchat in Explorer.

Firefox 3 works perfectly fine for me. I've got Greasemonkey installed, PHProxy, RuneHQ Toolbar and a fair few add-ons. No crashes so far.
Evening Master Yoda, I have and have been using Incredimail, which comes with a rather cool translator. I also use Firefox 2.0.0.15 and in combination with AVG 8.0 with LInk Scanner, seems to work nicely. I did read about the new Firefox 3.0 but it has only been out for a few weeks, no? You say you are finding it faster, I am wondering how that will work with the AvG and it's LInk scanner, because it does take a few extra seconds for AVG to finish it's job before I get the green light to hit a link. I don't like to mess with something that work's, but speed is cool too. Any thought's? Ted

@ Ted, It seems that whenever a new product comes out there is always some bugs that need fixing!
In this case, before you do anything you can check here for more information regarding AVG with Firefox- 3. And Link scanner.

I notice from here that Miyuki has no Flashchat in AFI, after installing Ff3. I wonder if that's my problem? I run Ubuntu-enhanced Ff3.
