Syama Fourou Mining Community seems to be a village co-operative type mining initiative in Mali.

The actual emails are below and Dikko Bakary is not [dikkob@gmail.com]

From initial communications, they are more afaid of being taken for a ride by scammers.

Am unfamilar with legislations there especially governing export, etc.

Volumes are low and quality control not really there yet.

It is still greenfield and has yet to be fully exploited.

I'd rate the risk as high even if the entire structure is legitimate.

Looks like scammers are trying to use their name.

Please note that I have not qualified that the seller Syama Fourou Mining Community as Bonafide.

Findings are from initial phone conversations only.

point to note is that there is a local gold market for export and as to why the seller chooses to sell directly to unknown buyers leaves room for doubt.
