I've seen some stupid scam mails, but I've rarely seen an uglier one.

    1. This is Barclay's Bank in the UK. Why would they use a free email sever in Canada, yahoo.ca? They wouldn't. Scammers would.
    2. You probably have never heard of Alex Age before. None of us have. That often means a scam.
    3. The phone numbers are from a UK redirect phone service and there is no guarantee those phones or faxes actually ring in the UK.
    4. As with any advance fee fraud, you would be asked to pay a lot of money for various relase forms, confirmations forms, and maybe even a stop order form or 2.
    5. The email asks you to respond to a different free email account, gmail.com. This always means a scam.
    6. They ask for a lot of personal information. I don't know how they plan to credit your ATM card. Evidently they have no idea what an ATM card is. They might ask for your bank information and that would be really bad for you to give them.
    7. This is just a plain ugly and unprofessional looking email.
    8. www.scamomatic.com will confirm it's a scam.
    NOBODY expects the Spanish Administration!

@ Guest. This whole thing is a scam. There is no money, there is no lawyer. There's probably a Nigerian internet criminal if you dial that phone number. You should not call him. He wants to steal your money.
    Dear Anti-Fraud International Team,

Please assist me in these following questions that I have. I am about to transfer a money to a Bank Account for engaging a lawyer to release my funds from Barclays Bank for a claim and I need to know these things first. Please assist me answer them.

    1) Who is Raymond Powell (Sir)?
    2) Who is the Director of Internationals Remittance Bank of Barclays Bank PLC?
    3) Is this the emal address of International Remitance Department (int-dept-barclays.co.uk@live.com)?
    4) Is this the telephone number to the Int. Remittance Dept. of Barclays Bank (+447045798297)?
Every time you click a scammer moans in agony; every time you post a scammer screams in pain!
