    Fake UK from potential Victim

A previously warned potential victim sent this to me as part of a question on whether this guy is a scammer.

Reach out and touch a scammer from 24 miles (43,000 Yards)..

    lol, absolute bad fake.

dob in the viz (visual inspection zone) does not match with the dob in the mrz (machine readable zone).

4 spaceholders between surname and name?

Fitzgerald Tony, although he's supposed to be Tony Fitzgerald. He hasn't learned about surnames yet. Or it doesn't matter. Fake ID at: http://antifraudintl.org/showpost.ph...2&postcount=26

I'm looking to rent a flat and this woman, Rebecca Jane Dagg said she had one in the most expensive area in Mexico City at an incredible price. She says she was British and that she had to go back to London so now she was looking for a tenant who would take care of the place while she was gone. She sent me a scanned copy of her passport but there are some things that make me doubt (her grammar, for instance). She also asked me to send her the money through a website called MoneyBookers asap. Could you guys tell me if her passport is authentic, please?

This is the e-mail she sent me:

    Hello,

I confirm that the property is available for lease for $7100 MNX p/month including utilities for as long as you need. The apartment is located Between ( Hamburg and Havre ) Reforma 200, Juárez - Cuauhtémoc - Distrito Federal - Mexico. .
The apartment is in the best conditions , it is newly furnished and equipped. In the apartment you will find a dishwasher , a refrigerator , a freezer , a washing. machine , a dryer , an iron , an oven , a toaster , a coffee maker , vacuum cleaner , a big screen TV , cable TV with the basic access , ADSL Internet and Wi-Fi access Also the apartment is near the public transportation. There are no problems if you have any pets , as long as you clean up after them . I am not interested to make a lot of money from the rent as I am interested to find a tenant that will take goof care of the property until my return . Because I had to move to London so soon I didn't had time to find a trustworthy agent , don't have any friends in the area to send the keys .I found an alternate solution in order to close the transaction safe for the both of us , it is an international delivery solution called MoneyBookers Services , they will provide assistance in handling the payment and delivery of the Keys and Lease Agreement . With this procedure you will be able o check the apartment before I receive the payment . I have 2 more persons interested in renting the apartment so please send me your full name and address ASAP if you are ready to rent it . The first person that will send me the details for the lease agreement will be the new tenant .

I have attached a copy of the renting contract that will be compleatd and sign by me as soon as you agree to rent the apartment, also I have attach a copy of my passport.

    My best regards,
    Rebecca Jane

    Here's the passport:

    Thanks!

I googled it and lol'd a bit. I tracked the IP, it comes from a prepaid mobile card. Thanks for helping me out. I would still like to know if the passport is fake, though. It looked legit (compared to the others I've seen on here).
