I am very uneasy about this arrangement. There are too many scams coming out of Nigeria and Western Union. Since she is ‘registered for shipment' (I don't know what that means), why can't I pay the airlines directly? I can't get a refund from Western Union if she does not arrive, do you know what I mean?
I want to believe this is a valid arrangement, but I have been scammed out of over 4k because I am too trusting and I believe the best in people. The pictures could have been easily downloaded from the Internet.

Who was the breeder? What church are you with? Do you have family or friends in this area?
When I said I can not send money to Africa, I stopped receiving emails. Do you see the big red flag?

We use Falkner here in Lancaster as our vet. We have a standard chihuahua who is our baby, but I've been looking for a Yorkie for a very long time for a friemd to our chihuahua.

I returned from the airport to pay the money and I think everything is set for the shipment now but the shipper has refused to release the tracking number due to the fact that we need to also obtain clearance from the Custom Authority which will be included in her documents so as not to have any delay while in transit.I branched at the custom's office on my way from the airport and they demanded for a sum of $175.00 for the issuance of the clearance.

This is what is delaying the shipment now and Mercy is presently at the airport with the airline attendants waiting for me to come back to the airport with the clearance paper to ship her immediately.Apart from this everything is okay from my end.Please advise.

We are not having problem with the airlines but the custom mandated them that we should obtain the custom paperworks before any pets leaves the country.I was not informed of this development until today I went to the airport with Mercy.We would have love to do what you said but to be sincere with you,we live on the contribution by church members to missioners, so there's no way we can come up with money here.

Mercy is still at the airport with the airline female attendant with the hope to effect the shipment as soon as I obtain the custom clearance paper.I can't really afford to leave her all alone at the airport.I assure you everything is ok.

The same ad and response was posted on Nassau County, NY freecycle. When I responded to the ad a woman named Donna Benard sent me the same exact email as hypperbunny with a contact person named Trish Sylvester at [tinimon@live.com] as an email; address. It never ceases to amaze me how easily they just change the names and move to another location. People of Nassau freecycle...BEWARE!!
