Trade-It scammers

I'm trying to sell a lovely display unit and only replies I've had have been from scammers. I've forwarded both to Trade-It who immediately blocked them. E-mails to watch out for are from Jim Hike, [hike.jim@gmail.com] and John Lucas, []lucasjjn@gmail.com].
Always look for bad english, not putting their name on first e-mail, wanting to use PayPal and not being able to get to see the item.
One guy who tried to scam me when I was selling my car offered me £200 more than I was asking and even sent me an e-mail supposedly from PayPal saying that he was genuine and had insurance. Shame his spelling and english was so bad!! That immediately got forwarded to PayPal as well.

hi, just tried selling some mahogany cabinets in trade-it on line.had a couple of scammers try to have me.dont quite know how or what they were up to but it wasnt right.one said how much ,was out of town at the time so woulld instruct his bank officer to send me a cheque for the furiture
plus money to cover the cost of his shipping agent that i had to give to the shipping agents that would be calling to collect the furniture.
all i had to do was give them my full info , address etc.at the end of the email he said "look forward to read from you ". as in previous sellar said the english and grammer is poor at best.the second buyer said much along the same lines ,i was a bit taken in at first until at the end of the email he said "look forward to read from you"that made me relise both emails were from the same person.i will be phoning trade-it tomorrow to inform them of happenings.

Hey, Iv'e just had almost the exact same thing just a little different. My car is listed on Trade-it and i got an email from a guy called Russell Kathry - (russellkathry@yahoo.com) who first asked me if the car was still for sale and if it was in good condition. I asked if he had read my description and told him the car was still for sale, to which i got a long reply stating that he was happy with my response and that he wanted me to send him some pictures of the car as he was not in town "due to a very important personal reason which is my work" (terrible english!!) and he wanted to pay me the full advert price as he was happy with my "firm asking price" but it would only be through paypal and ONLY paypal, so could i send him my paypal address. This made me suspicious so I sent him a link to my ebay page to which he could click buy it now if he wanted, and about an hour later i recieved what at first appeared to be three emails from Paypal - (Service@paypal.co.uk) with all the Paypal logos on, saying £3,300 had been deposited into my account which included £800 Western Union fees so I must contact Western Union to arrange payment to the shippers, and after I had emailed confirmation of the Western Union payment the £3,300 would be cleared.
Immedietly i was suspicious, and then I realised that the email address i had recieved these paypal emails from is not the email linked to my paypal, secondly there was just a few grammatical errors on the paypal emails, and then when you click the PayPal logos in the emails the new tab that opens simply says "Deferred" on a white page and does not take you to paypal.
The address listed for the shippers was Mr Scot Thomas, 31 Theobalds Rd, Bloomsbury, London, WC1X 8SP United Kingdom
He also signed off his emails with 'Greetings' their English is always terrible!!!
I have forwarded emails to paypal and the Police action fraud website which is here: https://reportfraud.actionfraud.poli...ntro.mvc/Intro

Bloody Scammers!!! He would have taken my car and my 800 quid and i never would have seen the £3,300! And my car would now be sat in some foreign country!
