Please take the Cheque and the envelope along with hard copies of any emails and give them to your postal inspector as they handle fraud sent via the mail system.

It is an offence to be in possession of a fraudulent instrument in parts of the USA, so please either give it to the inspector or your local police.

The very last thing anyone should do is to try to cash them.

A friend fell for this and received the "packet" a few days ago. I found complaints and share them with him so he wouldn't send $$$ to the Philippines! Paul Crave continues to send emails inquiring about his purchases. He responds back that the "check bounced." Paul Crave continues to send emails...I think this is done automatically...seems to be the same email w/the same grammar errors.

    A little more here. http://antifraudintl.org/showthread.php?t=3631.

You may get angry phone calls if they have your phoen number but you probably aren't going to have people knocking on your doo. Don't answer their emails and maybe contact the police and give them the check. Tell them you think it's fake and take copies of the emails.
