    International Dialing Codes

Sometimes a scammer will send you a phone number in an email. Not sure where that number is from? You can find a list of country codes and other phone information here:

British Telecom have an excellent resource at http://www.thephonebook.bt.com/publi...index.publisha where you can search by country name to get the code or dialing code to get the country. The major internal area codes for each country are listed as well, so for Ajuba you would enter Nigeria as the country and then look down the alphabetical list to find Ajuba. If you have the country code and the area code the reverse is just as simple, set the "Location by dial code button", scroll down the numerical list and select the country, click "search" and the area codes come up below, so for 233 632 xxxx you would find Ghana, Bechem.
