Here's a fun one that steps beyond the realm of the ordinary, everyday scam email.

1. This email comes to you from Mr. Vikki Malcom, who you probably never have heard of, and probably never will.
2. The email comes from a free email server, bellsouth.net, a favorite of scammers.
3. It asks you to reply to a different free email server, yahoo.co.uk. Both of these would be odd for a Russian organization to use. That means this is a scam.
4. The scammer actually sent a copy of the email to <donation@rfbr.ru> but that probably is not a real email account there. http://www.rfbr.ru/ does appear to be the actually website for the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. We'll let them know about this scam.
5. This scam format is merely a variation on the usual charity scam email. The organizations chosen by the scammer all seem to work in conjunction with "the ECOWAS, UNO and the EU". It doesn't matter which charity they use.
6. The scammer asks for a short explanation of how you intend to use your money to improve your standard of living. Instead, the scammer should provide an explanation of how YOU are going to improve his standard of living, assuming you would actually send money to him.
7. www.scamomatic.com will confirm this one is a scam.
