Dear Sir/Madam,

RE: ESTATE OF DR. MAURICE WOHL

Going through our records, it came to our knowledge that the great philanthropist, Late Dr. Maurice Wohl, made a random selection of individuals (via email addresses drawn from 250 Countries on the internet index, who he expects to continue in line with his selfless services to humanity. It is on this note that, I Barrister Brian Davies, was assigned to contact you on behalf of the Board of Trustees and Executors of the Estate of Late Dr. Maurice Wohl. I once again try to notify you as my earlier emails were returned undelivered.

I wish to notify you that Late Maurice Wohl made you a beneficiary to his funds. He left the deposit of Nine Million Two Hundred Thousand Great British Pounds (9.200, 000, 00 GBP) for you in a highly confidential account with an Assets Management Firm.

Until his death, Late Dr. Maurice Wohl made a Commander of the British Empire (CBE), was a self-made real estate magnate, and was known worldwide for his generosity. He was the president of the Jerusalem Great Synagogue, and also a benefactor of Bar-Ilan University, Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem and Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv, as well as many other Israeli institutions. He is a very dedicated Jew who loved to be involved in charitable projects not because it gave him prestige and fame but because it was the right thing to do. Helping to alleviate the sufferings of a lot of people and families that needed the support and assistance was his aim. He thus earned numerous Humanitarian awards during his lifetime for his great philanthropy.

On July 2 2007, Dr. Maurice Wohl died at the age of 83 years. His wife died 2 years earlier in 2005. They were childless. According to his last wishes, his money is to support your humanitarian activities and to help the poor and the needy in our society. This funds are now ready for execution.

Someone I know recently received one of these emails as well. I am currently in a job which has allowed me to acquire new knowledge about these kinds of marketing emails. For those of you who are unsure, DO NOT RESPOND TO THE EMAILS! DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS they provide you in their email. DO NOT SEND ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION to these people no matter how insignificant you believe your information to be... even if it is "just" your phone number. The last thing you want is for one of these people to call your number. There is a way for "Brian Davies" to call your house with his "business" address on your call display. These guys think they can outsmart you... don't let them! Sometimes they want to steal your identification and you'd be surprised at the information they can get with just a few details about you! Other times they want to "befriend" you with the hope that you will provide your banking information later on (so they can send you money right? wrong!). These people are not sending you a cent... they want to take your money or your ID... whatever they can get. It would be a great idea to forward any of the emails you receive in the future (similar to this type) to your local authorities.
