Craiglist scammer

This is the message in response to my posted ad:
Hi,
I would have just come over to pay and pick it up, But I'm going on a business trip. Therefore, I have instructed my Secretary to prepare and mail your Check and I assure you will get it within a week. An extra $20 will be added for the delay.
So all you have to do now is to email me your FULL NAME, MAILING ADDRESS and PHONE NUMBER. The pick-up will be effected after you must have received the payment.
I will be waiting to read from you.
Thanks

Scam!!

I got the EXACT same email in response to a posting for a set of Encyclopedia's I listed on Craigslist. I Googled Jtkevaluation.org and found this forum.
Seriously, who has a personal secretary and cannot spell or put sentences together properly. What an idiot.

Craigslist scam!

I recieved this from a post I have on craigslist.
"Hi,
I'm glad it's still for sale. I'm going on a vacation to London but I
will instruct my assistant to prepare and mail you your payment which
I'm sure you will get it in about 5 - 7 business days. I'll add $20
extra for the delay. Money Order is the means I can pay you with. If
this is acceptable by you, Send me your info i.e full name, mailing
address and your phone number so payment can be mail out immediately.I
will also make arrangement for pick-up which will be after you must
have received and cashed the Money Order..
Awaiting your info
Thanks"

Here are the e-mail addresses that were used [garymeghan@jktevaluation.org] and [reallion007@gmail.com]. I hope that this will help someone else with the same situation. "If it sounds to good to be true, then do some checking. I found out about this scam because I googled the e-mails.

Had the Exact same thing happen to me....

Mine was regarding a reptile set up which i thought was odd since, if someone can afford a vacation in london and has an assistant you would figure they would be able to buy things full price and not have to wait 2 weeks for a $75 dollar set up.

"Bill Wison"

I just received that exact email. I responded and told him I would only accept personal checks... I also asked him if he was scamming me because the first email was from "buyingpower7@gmail.com signed by Michael Power and the last one was the "billwilson@jktevaluation.org". Glad I'm familiar enough with google to fortunately find this scam...

Received this email in now in 2016........... Never giving up?

Hello i'm Bill ,just asking about it to make sure its in good condition as im buying it for my son as a surprise who is getting married soon in november and he doesn't know about it, so can you assure me i will not be disappointed? My Mode of payment is PayPal because i don't have access to my bank account online, but i have it attached to my PayPal account. Since I'm requesting this transaction to be done via PayPal, I will be responsible for all the Paypal fees/charges on this transaction, if you don't have an account with PayPal, it's pretty easy, safe and secure to open one. Just log on to www.paypal.com. I hope we can make this transaction as fast as possible. Less I forgot, I have a Mover that will come for pickup once payment is cleared in your PayPal account and they will be handling the title for me, as I look forward to hearing from you with your PayPal information as requested below.

Your PayPal e-Mail Address :
Full name:
Firm Price:
Pick Up Location:

And please do send me more pictures of it when you can.

Awaiting your response asap.

I received a strange and weird text message from a Bill Wilson yesterday (march 08, 2017). I decided to google his email address and came upon this forum.

wilsonbill501@gmail.com

Avoid and report this email if anyone else receives it. It is obviously a scam. It's quite sad that this person is still going at it since 2012.

This was the message.

"Do you need a Job? email us dfsemployment@hotmail.com for immediate employment as representative to be receiving funds"

Another email address you should avoid and report.

I hope this message help others. I would hate for the naive to be a victim of a classic scam.

Ha, keyed in google on Bill Wilson and BAM. Found this thread. Here is his email. Sounds pretty familiar, just a few words were changed. His email is Wilsonbill0011@gmail.com This was for a jet ski I was selling.

Okay...My only option right now will be PayPal, I prefer to use PayPal for most online transactions, You can easily get money in your PayPal and transfer it into your bank account let me know then i will arrange for it to be picked up by agent that will come down to your location for pick up after the payment is clears to you,Do you have a PayPal account..?

I encountered a similar scenario. Got a text in response to my ad seeking my truck. None of it made sense, especially the party about ezmailing his boss because he's not computer savvy.

Initial text (321)406-2357 - "2008 Ram 1500 Big Horn quad cab - $13000 Email me back at wilsonbill0011@gmail.com if its available."

My response - It's available.

(321)406-2357 - "I contacted you for my boss, he's not too computer savvy kindly respond by sending email to wilsonbill0011@gmail.com, if it's still available. He will get in touch with you. Thanks"
