I am finding that the changes that Google has made recently to its Maps is making searches much longer. Here are the instructions to reset back to classic maps. From: https://support.google.com/maps/answer/3045828 Go back for a single session If you’ve already enabled the new Google Maps but want to return to the classic Google Maps temporarily, you can return to classic Google Maps for a single session. -Go to the new Google Maps. -Click the Help button in the bottom right corner. (the button with the question mark) -Click Return to classic Google Maps. The classic Google Maps will remain enabled until you navigate away or close the tab. The next time you open your browser tab, the new Google Maps experience will be automatically loaded. Switch back to the old version permanently If you want, you can also go back to the old version: -Go to the new Google Maps. -Click the Help button in the bottom right corner. -Click Return to classic Google Maps. -Click Yes in the notification bar that appears. -On the landing page that appears, follow the instructions to opt out permanently. Any feedback you could provide as to why you wanted to opt out will be valuable in improving the product for you in the future.
