In Belgium, financial insitutions are regulated by the CBFA (Commission Bancaire, Financiere et des Assurances). The list of regulated institutions is available in French at click the link in the middle of the page "Listes".

The Financial Servics Agency of Denmark has a full list of regulated organizations in the country here (in English):

The Bank of Greece has a full list of supervised institutions in pdf format, here in English:
And here in Greek, I guess. I don't know it's all Greek to me...

In Hungary the Hungarian Financial Supervisory Authority regulates financial institutions. The regulates institutions can be found here in English:, and click on the left side link under "Supervised Institutions".
In Hungarian, I think it's here, but don't quote me on this. Click on the link "Piaci szereplok" and then click the links under that heading.

In Latvia, the Financial and Capital Market Commission carries out the supervision of Latvian banks, insurance companies and insurance brokerage companies, participants of financial instruments market, as well as private pension funds. The Bank of Lithuania regulates financial institutions in Lithuania. The Information in English is found at There are drop down bars to search each category and institution. The same information and format in Lithuanian is here:

In Luxembourg, the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) regulates all financial institutions. A list of each of the sectors in .pdf format can be downloanded here (in English) and here in French:

In Malta, the Malta Financial Services Authority regulates financial institutions. All banks should be found on this list, including branch banks. These can be found (in English) at Click on the left side link "Banking" and under "Credit Institutions" and "License Holders" is a list of regulated institutions.

On 1 January 2007, the Financial Supervision Act (FSA) (Wet op het financieel toezicht) came into force and replaced the Act on the Supervision of the Credit System of 1992 (ASCS). Under the ASCS, the Nederlandsche Bank supervises credit institutions in the Netherlands.

Banks in Switzerland are regulated by the Swiss Federal Banking Commission.
