Six men and two teenage boys were arrested on Sunday by the Morant Bay Police, on suspicion of being involved in the lottery scam, which has tarnished Jamaica's reputation.

The police went to a house in Prospect where a search was carried out and documents with the names and addresses of persons overseas were allegedly found. A number of cell phones, lap tops, tablets and other technical gadgets were also seized.

Five men and two teenagers were held during the operation. A sixth man was later picked up at the house when the police returned to the property.
