OFFER LETTER To confirm the recent screening process, which was conducted by the Screening Department of China National Petroleum Corporation, we are pleased to offer you an initial position as the: POSITION: INSTRUMENT SUPERINTENDENT. JOB LOCATION: DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. STARTING DATE: 21 st MAY 2018. On this date, you are to report at 8:00 a.m. to the Human Resources Department, where you will be provided with packet containing information on China National Petroleum Corporation. Benefits, facilities, and services as well to attend an orientation program before job commencement. Should you accept this job offer, per company policy you'll be eligible to receive the following beginning on your hire date. SALARY: Monthly starting net salary of 13,000 (USD) exclusive of any taxation. You will be paid both during your time onsite and your time off-site if hired on rotational basis. All payment of Salary after assumption of duty in UAE shall be 90% paid into an account to be provided by employee with the remaining 10% paid locally in UAE. This is in line with the UAE Expatriate Financial Statutory Laws. 1. VISA: All International Applicant should note that China National Petroleum Corporation shall duly secure their Visa from the Home office of the UAE Immigration Services here in UAE for every applicant coming from outside the UAE. 2. WORK PERMIT: China National Petroleum Corporation shall secure your work permit papers from the UAE Immigration Service here in UAE which will enable you to live and work legally here in Dubai. 3. FLIGHT TICKET: Your flight ticket shall also be sent to you before your departure. You are to provide a working and valid postal address where your ticket shall be delivered through a courier service agent, inclusive of the Hardcopy of your Offer Letter and Certificate of Employment. ACCOMMODATION: Quality housing in company communities or a rental assistance allowance: China National Petroleum Corporation has 2 communities where the company provides quality accommodations in pleasant surroundings. Alternatively, employees may obtain housing in the local communities outside of the China National Petroleum Corporation communities. To cover rental costs, China National Petroleum Corporation provides a rental assistance allowance. Employees are entitled to take meals free of charge at the General Staff canteens. Dietary options, Customized cooks and Dieticians are available options. 5. ORIENTATION PROGRAM: Candidates are advice to arrive a week before job commencement date in order to attend the orientation seminar. Note there will not be further interview as your appointment is basically on the information, which you have provided on your resume before screening. There will be a routine check of your credentials on arrival by the Human Resource Department to confirm validity. 6. REIMBURSEMENT: All expenses you incurred during the period of processing your STR visa application with Immigration Consultant Mandated by China National Petroleum Corporation will be reimbursed before you embark on your journey. The First month upfront salaries shall be paid only if you provide immigration lawyer with the entire documents during the period of processing your STR visa application. 7. SAFETY AND SECURITY: Safety and Security of personnel (Local/Foreign) and Facilities on Job Locations and communities are no small issues, and have been seriously considered to ensure and assure hitch free operations. All operations on Job Location are designed to adhere strictly to the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy as applicable in the Company Sector. All expatriates are entitled to a free and mandatory safety courses on Job Locations to be delivered by qualified safety and environment experts. 8. MEDICAL AND HEALTH CARE: Free medical care: China National Petroleum Corporation provides medical care via our Johns Hopkins Healthcare subsidiary medical network or contracted hospitals and clinics. These facilities are among the finest in the Middle East. An experienced staff of physicians and medical specialists is available to ensure your medical needs are met while in Dubai. 9. PERFORMANCE BONUSES: Up to Ten percent of your annual net salary, paid quarterly by your choice of cheque or direct deposit. 10. TRANSPORTATION: Free scheduled transportation: Air-conditioned buses are provided free of charge for transportation within camp areas, to work locations, local shopping areas outside camp, the beach and other Dubai communities. 11. EDUCATION ASSISTANCE PLAN: If you are hired on family status, you will be eligible to benefit from the company’s excellent education assistance plan for dependent children. Full details will be provided on arrival in Dubai. 12. ROTATION: If hired on rotational basis, the rotation will be 28/28 days. That is, you will work onsite from one to four weeks, and then will be off for a corresponding amount time. 13. CONTRACT DURATION: 24 months (Renewable).
